Krzysztof Klimczak MD, PhD, Krzysztof Klimczak, born 30.07.1959 in Torun. In 1986 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Gdansk. In 1994 he received second-degree specialization in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. In 1999, he defended before the Council, Medical University of Gdansk thesis "The value of fetal motility test to an objective perinatal study. The promoter of this study was to prof. PhD. MD Maria Hrabowska (+). In 1986, he joined the Department of Obstetric and Gynecology in Bytow County Hospital, where he worked until 1997 as a junior assistant, assistant, senior assistant and deputy chief surgeon. In 1997 he became chief surgeon of the Ob – Gyn Department of the Public Health County Hospital in Człuchow, where he worked until May 2002. In the years 1993 - 1999 he was a member of the scientific team at the Independent Department of Clinical Pathomorphology Institute of Obstetrics and Women Disease Medical University of Gdansk, where he conducted research work in the field of morphometric feto- placental barrier.
In the years 2002 - 2009 he worked in the County Hospital NZOZ Szpital Tucholski - by 2004 as a doctor operating out, from January 2004 to June 2009 as a coordinator for the Ob - Gyn Department. Held internships in Obstetric Clinic University of Zurich and University Obstetric Clinic of Giessen, where he conducted research work in the field of Doppler ultrasound. In the first place of the activities of Dr. Krzysztof Klimczak include minimal - invasive surgery - hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. Krzysztof Klimczak began to perform laparoscopic procedures in 1989, during the years 1989 to 1996, he participated in many courses and training organized by the Poznan School of laparoscopy and laser therapy. He was an active participant in many training workshops organized by prof. PhD. Andrzej Malinowski at Department of Gynecology and Endoscopy, Institute Polish Mother's Health Center in Lodz. Since 2005 he has cooperated with C. Dejewski C. MD, PhD - Deputy chief surgeon for Women’s Disease Clinic Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, a branch in Dachau, from December 2008 head of Women’s Disease Clinic St. Joseph Hospital in Bremerhaven. Together with Dr. C. Dejewski he organized workshops and conducted operational research work in the advanced techniques of gynaecologic laparoscopy. Dr. K. Klimczak is a member of the Section of the Polish Society of Gynecological Endoscopy - Branch Office in Poznan, the European Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ESGE) - Leuven, Belgium, the Polish Gynecological Society - Branch in Gdansk and the German Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy (AGE) – branch of German Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology DGGG). In 2005 Dr. Krzysztof Klimczak started to work together with prof. PhD. Maciej Wilczak MD (Clinical Hospital, Medical University of Poznan) - jointly organizing workshops for minimal-invasive operating techniques.
From 01 July 2009, Dr. Krzysztof Klimczak, has been head of Clinic of Gynecology St. Joseph Hospital in Bremerhaven, Germany.
